    Ok, have a plan.
Mobil Ashhurst at 1:30,probably leave 1:45ish, riding V.Hill and back, might stop in the Irish bar in Feilding on the way back, depends on consensus of those who are riding.

Nice pics and yes it does, but you need an extra headlight. We've all got two!

Fantastic ride with Doug today. Hope the bloke we met in Hunterville with the Beull gets to Castle Point ok. Was from up Hammyville way off to see a old buddy he hadn't seen for a while.

No real plan but the bikes had obviously been nattering to each other while around at Doug place. Feilding, Halcome Marton, Tirakina, Fordell, Hunterville, oohARR90, Pentildon(sp), Apiti, called into dogs but he wasn't home(was helping Al shift with a few of usual suspects) then on to the centre of the universe. Natter n coke with Lance(who was repairing his green thing), bumped into Dogs too, and of cause that wonderfull host Meanie.

Cheers Doug for the company and Meanie for the end of ride(well almost) refreshment.

Depends on how I feel. May end up doing overtime on Saturday and catch the mob in Woodville for lunch. Also been toying with the idea of going the long way via Alfredton to Pongaroa then out to the beach to miss most of the "traffic".

It is an interesting run alright. Every year I swear I am not doing it again and every year I find myself doing it again.

You really have to keep your wits about you cause the ride seems to attract alot of dangerous riders. If you get well clear then it is a good road. (providing its not raining)

I'd certainly agree with that! Being overtaken on the inside of a right hander by an R1 on the rear wheel sealed it for me!
I pulled the pin at Pongaroa and escorted my niece as far as Eketahuna. Much more relaxed on that stretch!

Did someone say pootle? I could do that.

Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.
