I'll be in chch but rode what I'd imagine to be a lot of the route today instead.

Woodcocks has been swept so the fresh chip is gone... Only to be replaced with melting tar. Was like an oil slick at 3pm today. Would suggest flagging it unless you're there before lunch. I'm tempted to lay a complaint with someone (if I knew who) as clearly the tar is shit quality.

    Have a wicked time guys.

Thanks for the info Matt. I'm planning to avoid woodcocks at this stage.

Did the route to the waipu yesterday and roads are pretty sweet.

Shame you not taking your bike on the Christchurch trip...

No worries Todd. Would have been good to have you along but I know what it's like with work etc. Gotta do the work to get the cash for the bikes

As for Chch I'm gonna be tortured over and over as I'm staying in Governors Bay. Right in the heart of all of the cities best twisties. Might have to pop down to the pub and see if I can borrow a bike

The weather gods gave me a sign when I organised the ride that it aint gonna rain.

Plus I always do anti-rain dance in mankini on the balcony to calm the weather gods and ask them for nice weathe ron my rides.

    Was a good ride

Sucks about that stone scratching the tank up - I got home and noticed 3 of em stuck to my tank too. But seeing as I don't hang of the bike I was OK.

Lots of people registered for this ride, seems like it'll be a good one! I'm off to bed now, see you all in the morning!
