Nice ride wish I could do it. Just plan for it to take a lot longer or ride really fast with short stops.
This ride has been tested before and well approved. Was good fun last time.

Yeah, that map is completely stuffed up, but does cover the general route. I think it's doubled back on itself a few too many times, heheh

Oh goodie, I liked joining in last time. Apart from those Dargaville flats it's a lovely route.

    Waipua Forest -- fuck yes.

Better get a new chain before I go!

More acurate map of the trip, but still just rough directions. Details are not noted on map. So trip is about 550 - 600k

will be avoiding the dargaville straights this time round.

I'd like to think I learn from the past

edit: and also no planning on going trough Whangarei either, it was just more visual to plot on map, will be taking some back twisties instead.

I wouldn't recommend this trip for a novice rider z99, as it is likely to expose you to many road conditions and situations you are not ready for yet. This means that you will be in a very likely situation to crash and hurt yourself and possibly someone else. Therefore I would NOT recommend this ride for you at this stage .

There will be plenty of Learner friendly rides trouought the summer, which I already know have been planned by a few of my mates on KB, so you will have your chance to get acustomed to open road riding in safe and secure manner, which will in turn prepare you for long rides like this in the future.

All the best with your test z99

I'd love to come along but unfortunately I'm out of town until late on the 10th so I'll miss it

Damnit I'm away practically the whole Christmas/NY period and not on the bike despite my best efforts to make it so.

Definitely up for some pootling action after that though. bring it on.

No plans at this stage for that weekend my friend, sounds like an awesome ride! I'll be there if I can!
What you have in your heart will be revealed through what you have in your life.

If things are going badly in our circumstances, the answer to what is happening to us outwardly is more often than not found in the mirror.
