We already have plenty of very experienced riders in our group, all willing to offer us piles of advice and support. I trust and respect those riders and their experience because of their humility and because I have watched them ride (for the short period I could keep up ).

No offence carver, I'm sure you know some things and that you would have something to add but I would sooner listen to them.
no actually, more assumptions from you sir.
you have seen me ride too, i may have passed you on the back wheel at some point.
    humility, whats that?
i heard arrogance is something the loosers hate in the winners anyways.

Well, you've confirmed everything I said

    Humility :
"that meta-attitude which constitutes the moral agent's proper perspective on himself as a dependent and corrupt but capable and dignified rational agent" - Kant
You haven't been around me long enough to make the assumption of being a looser so i am guessing you are associating "learner" and "looser" closely.

I am a learner and you are now calling me a looser, there's nothing you could teach me or a member of our group with that kind of ignorance.

I think you hang around the learners because it makes you feel like you have skill, as i said to sidewinder:
Remember this is the "laxed out rides" and there's no prize for first, if thats not your cuppa tea then go find some people who actually care about road racing and see how you stack up.

you never called me arrogant, so it is you sir, who is begging to be called a looser.
i dont hang around learners, but previously i have taught plenty of people how to ride.
so what are you trying to say again?

Why is it whenever posts from the mormon few appear on this thread it turns into a bitch fight??? We all love/ride bikes so does it matter whos the best, fastest, girliest, slowest or kawasakiest?? Isn't it enough to share a common passion??

You are right, I never called you arrogant, it was you that mentioned that loosers call you arrogant.

My point was we have plenty of people happy to teach us.

I tell you what, when I want to learn some more about name calling and pointless misdirection I will PM you.

Awesome.. what you been hunting ? Possums ?

I get back on the 28th at midday.. Unfortunatly i have to work on the 29th, 30th & 31st .. but after that hopefully the new years holidays are fine so i may take out my bike and bask/burn in the warm summer sun again.

Looking forward to getting back to Tracey, to getting on my bike again and also catching up with everyone.

Hey, anyone on for a ride tomorrow (Sunday). I'm planning on taking the "learner" out the way Paddy took us through Karapiro left at the BP but straight through (not past Hobbiton), back up to Matamata (forecast is fine) then the backroads near Walton and through to morrinsville and back. Leaving Hotel 11.00 sharp. Trinas now done 578 kms and did Te Awamutu (sorry cameron you must have been out) over to pirongia up to the raglan road and back yesterday.

cheers all and I do feel sorry for Carver having only a couple of gay friends, it must be lonely in the biker community being like that.

there must be other learners you can go and annoy, personally id rather take advice from people I actually respect and trust, or a rabid dingo rather then a mormon.

    Have a great weekend
I didnt slap you....I high-fived you in the face
