Yep. A group are planning a ride out through Turakina way but I can't find which thread they put it in. It will turn up again very soon. Lovely chick at Whitelock Suzuki said best entry is over Main Town bridge then back down to parking.

Just wondering if the Hawkes Bay crowd had anybody to meet up with.
Saw Robertydog with a group, must have been them. They got going before us though.

Really good day. Great ride over there, the company and racing was excellent, primo vantage point and the whole event was very well organised. One serious crash though, not good. Managed to lose Cowboyz on the way home, how does he do that? Dogs and I came back via Fordell, Hunterville and Vinegar Hill, very good run. Just going to apply some more sunscreen, I'm a bit red at the moment.

The Britten didn't race, but did a display at lunchtime.

Britten did not race .. just a pootle demo around the track a couple of times

Turakina Valley in primo condition at the mo .. no loose stock either which must be a first

ended up playing the piped piper & had about 7 or so riders tag on behind the 4 of us heading over so they ended up doing the valley run as well

Good ride over. Racing was awesome. Good to see guys doing what they are good at. I left the bikepark behind dogs and stopped at the roundabout waiting for you. Dogs took off up the road and you still didnt show up so I thought you had gone and done other things. Hit the main road and missed the Fordell turnoff. I was following a bike I thought was dogs who went striaght through at turakina and decided that wasnt him so I turned off and did halcombe hill again.

May have to stop in Masterton for fuel before heading out to Castlepoint for lunch.
Bump, hope the weather hold off.

Ah, ok. Yep, I was a bit slow getting out of the park. I thought we'd said we'd go up the hill to Fordell (from Wanga's) and we waited there. Shame as it was a real good run back, but I can see how it all turned to custard. It's so easy to get separated eh. Good to see you anyway

I might join you. I was going for a Sunday ride to look at Castlepoint via Wanganui, Palm. Nth, Pahiatua track, back road to Alfredton, Castle Hill, Ruru, Tinui but wil probably detour via Ashurst if I'm on time. Anyone else joining you?

Had a nice ride up to National park/Ohakune/Paras through to Wanganui-didn't see any PN peeps but saw a couple of races then home. Lots and lots of Police men on the road.
My family have all gone home to their respective parts of NZ-was a nice Christmas.

Hope tomorrow is nice weather for the ride.

Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.
