    You can't please everyone.

Take that 1125 article that Random is ribbing me about earlier. My Editor, Harley and Erik Buell all loved it. Random says it's navel gazing. His opinion - welcome to it. I'll take some of it on board.

To be in the media - even the DIY media - you need a thick skin and big ego or absolute blind conviction in your art - or both.

    I liked your cinematography.

+1 to everything SixPack, Boomer, etc said! You're a good bloke! Be happy with the friends that you've made, fuck the others! Been passed (many times) on the road by you ....... never had any concerns. Good to talk with over a drink. You have a real love of riding that few on this site possess! Loved your articles / videos. Anybody asking about your riding /ego / bragging has obviously never ridden with you, and had a drink and a chat!
And yes (you FAGS), there is a difference between riding with someone and just being passed by someone! Cheers Paul!

That is not pleasent and I don't believe it should be condoned.

By all means slate his riding. But base it in fact (as you have done in the past) and leave the personal insults and lies out.
Is it ok to spread lies about someone because we are on the Internet?

I belong to another forum (totally different from this one) and although it is much, much tamer than here, the same sort of personality clashes and bickering goes on. It's all women, so it's probably a bit more bitchy and subtle I guess.

Unfortunately this is all part of human nature and the internet environment allows people to be much bolder and have anonymity. I'm sure half the crap that gets said on here wouldn't be said in person.

I have a sensitive nature and am inclined to be offended by some of the things I see on here, especially if directed straight at me. I have taken lots of KBers off my xmas card list

If you want some proof that this happens on other forums, check this out:

Ironically the forum in the article is very similar to the one I belong to, and the conflict talked about in the article is identical to a $hit fight that happened on there just a week or so ago. It's almost as if they changed names to protect the parties involved!

Sounds like you have a lot of support on this site Beyond, so just ignore the wombles and focus on your true friends.

What a niggle-fest this thread has turned into eh? - a whole lot of "I'll have the last word" posts mainly involving egos ( or claims of lack of egos) and supposed riding ability.

    Good 'ol KB!!

I, also, have had a post moved to Pointless Drivel. I was quite chuffed that a KB notary had taken the time to read it before consigning it.

So look on the bright side. You got extra attention.

I find the mud-slinging hard to take, just like you. Actually, I think it's quite disgusting. All of the keyboard warriors who've thrown shit at me and my other half on here have never met us, and never bothered to say hi and get to know us. Yet, they continue to harrass, deride and ridicule my partner so that he can't be bothered with kb anymore. Damn shame really, as I've met some fantastic people from kb-land. More and more though, kb seems to be about being 'popular' or one of the 'in-crowd'.
