Suzuki FXR150 for sale.
As many of you guys know, my bike is not in a show room condition. I will try to be very honest to the buyer.
The bike is not in a very good condition. It will need more maintenance in the future. However, I bought the bike from a poorly maintained previous owner and while I had this bike many things needed to be replaced e.g. Engine Oil, Sprockets, Airfilter, Tyres, Chains and break pads. Since those accessories are almost brand new, the bike doesn't seems to have any major problem now.
Here are some problems that the bike currently has (Direct quote from my FXR Review Thread).
OK, my bike is next to a rolling junk. It is indeed not in a mint condition however it does it’s job (which is going from A to B) pretty damn well. Here is a list of things that are distorted.
Current Problems:
• Yet still the break fluid needs to be changed.
• The current bike has a Honda CB250RS Carburettors, but I don't think it's damaging the bike. However because the bike has a carb from a 250cc bike, sometimes it makes it difficult to start the bike when the engine is really cold.
• The electric start doesn't work. Only kick start.
• The bike has a few scratched/ cracked fairings. Temporary they are mended with tapes however it is fixable.
• Some nuts and bolts are missing all around the bike (4 pieces missing and counting…)
• Two totally different mirrors. Especially the right mirror is next to nothing. I'd rather turn my head to see the rear.
• Half of the headlight doesn’t work. One new bulb required.
• Right foot peg bracket is cracked.
• Leaking carburettor.
• Has 1 more scratch than R6_Kid’s GSXR.
However despite the negatives, it goes well. I even got the WOF with that above status. When I was doing the Wellington Tour, I really thought my bike would brake down (So I packed many tools and got the AA Plus membership) but the bike didn’t fail on me.
Fork seal was leaking and was getting onto the front brakes however it was fixed yesteurday. For the buyer, I will provide a free set of brake discs. Ah note, only one fork seal (the leaking one) was replaced yesteurday.
The bike will come with a fresh new 6 months rego. WOF is till May.
It is ideal for a bucket bike. I don't really recommend this to a learner since the bike will need further careful mantenance in the future.
