I'm keen on getting out Thursday, and will prob be along tomorrow if I manage to get my bike in for it's service tomorrow.

Is anyone up for a night of watching Motogp dvds - I just got home to find the 2008 review here. I'm sure we could turn it into a bbq or something ...

And, would anyone like to come to Kumara this weekend (Sat night) to see a friend of mine singing? She is in a band called Retrovision - they do old style rock and roll music, good dance stuff. The same band that played at the Wheatsheaf tavern rally, which was rained off. I'm thinking of camping if the weather is good, not sure what is there but it's not far from Greymouth. Would be good practice if you're thinking about doing the Woodstock rally at the end of this month.

We just came through from Punakaiki today, and the roads were lovely ~

it's nice to be home - have lots of gardening to do, but already keen to get back out there and ride while the sun is shining

Thank you! It's good to be back - I've been telling everyone all around the Sth Island what a wonderful bunch of ladies there are riding in Chch now

Oh yeah, I WILL be going. That's the plan anyway. It was fantastic last year, I really enjoyed the ride and the atmosphere, and the wake-up in the morning as some good keen man piped in the sun.

I agree, although when school's out I think I am pretty luck to get to run away with my one. Thank goodness there is only him though, would be a struggle taking any more on the back of the bike. My work would like to see me back, but he comes first - he won't be ten forever, and in a few years time he won't want to be seen dead with me, so I'm making the most of it while it lasts. By the time school gets back in I'll be climbing the walls tho' - LOL.

Oh bugger! Can't get my bike in for a service til next Tuesday, that has caused a bit of reshuffling plans a bit, might end up doing the garden after all. I will know better next time - book it in before you leave.

I'll be along tonight, but won't be able to go out on Thursday or to Kumara in the weekend (although I might take the car - ugh!). Sad sad sad. Now, if only I had another 'backup' bike ...

    Hi Girlz,

Good to hear you are out there on your bike enjoying yourself! I haven't heard back from any of you since our great coffee catch-up at the Nor Wester (you all had my email but I didn't have your's) so I thought I look you up here - and so I did!
Anybody interested in a ride next Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday - let me know! Happy riding!
