I have not taken a pillion on it yet but given the upright position i would say that there would be no loading on the rider from the pillion unless it was under extreme braking. may be i should take you for a pillion before the sunday ride and then we will know the answer

Taking pillions on a sportsbike is a whole new wonderful world. Helps if your friends coz you end up getting mashed together anyways under breaking. Yes your arms do take more of the load so the pillion needs to be active and brace wh their knees and reach around you to push against the tank if possible. Main thing for them to do on the back is to RELAX, you can feel pretty much everthing they do ay. And sort out some signals and rules before you head off... Makes it ride so much more enjoyable for the both of you

(No SilientNinja Hayley isnt my GF btw)

haha I thought you were offering an experience to Koz there for a second. After your advice I can just imagine Koz hugging Ian going around corners all cozy like

Maybe I need to start taking chicks for rides on the back of the bike. Why hasn't someone told me about this earlier????

Koz passenger, yes bit scarey, his nipple percings might catch in the back of your gears if he cuddles to tight!! And do fairy wings add to aero dynamics and will they help do a wheelie or possibly even more a stoppie?????

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.

Depends on the bike and the rider, once your rolling the weight of the pillion compaired to the rider dosnt matter to to much I've found. Took my dad out for a spin and he's not as skinny as he used to be... Just at stops if you both put the left foot down its all gravy baby.

Ckai, dunno about you but one cant really cuddle in leathers and a 100kph-ish hug isnt in the slightest romantic

That aside once your pillion is comfortable on the back and your comfortable riding with them its really quite fun and you can zip along at 100 no worries.

This is a point, just got to get used to the dynamics of stopping with totally different weight distribution michelle is tiny so there's not going to be that much trouble

Thank you for your advice dude.

I will come for a ride if you need to learn. i have had pillions on the back around a race track for doubles racing. lots of fun having your balls mashed into the tank.
Kryssie was on the back of the 250 i have, She is heavier than me but you can still ride in controll with practise. Like the others said, just need them to relax and go with the bike, dont fight around corners, and riding at slow speeds, like intersections and road works, just get them sitting straight and forward, passengers like to look around your body.

i will let you know Ian when the general comes out on the road. Just remember easy on the gas as you have weight behind the back wheel. and your braking has dropped and need to slow down before corners and not hard. unless you have a nut or dont need kids.
