Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

It's a public camp & beginning of Dec there will be a few people round, which can only really spell trouble. (ie: the people who were camping at Dansy's complained bout the stereo & our noise...) The other camp suggests a group can hire it "completely" which is far preferable, so we can make as much noise as we like!

Ahh I have now looked up Seddonville on the map as opposed to my thinking it was Seddon, makes a big difference, looks like an interesting location.

I kind of like the idea of Mapua. Got lots of family in the area and its a brillant area. Its a propper camping ground from memory and there are a couple of very good resturants just a short walk around the beach at the old wharf.

2008 one was 13/12, 2009 one will probably be around the same date. This is just the waffle leading up to the poll to decide where the next one will be. The poll will be another month or so of waffle leading up to an actual decision So stay awake You'll be most welcome to attend though ... sometime ... somewhere

    Te Nikau Lodge

Has anyone ever stayed at Te Nikau Lodge Retreat?? Just north of the Pancake Rocks @ Punakaiki. It was reccommended to me by a regular visitor as a magical experience.
I have asked some questions, and will publish these when answers received.
