The Beastie and I have been carving up some massive gravel roads lately (I am soooo a closet dirt bike rider)-it is very nice to handle in the rough. I actually enjoy the gravel more than the tarseal (it is very sticky at the moment and every council has decided it is mint weather for resealling!!)

But thanks for the `heads up' -I have heard a few horror stories about the belts and stones. The Beastie has a bit of a guard under it by the belt...but as we know that don't mean shite when it comes to stones

Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.

hmm wots a girl to do with a day off .. go riding perhaps ..

Well was gonna head to Dannivegas & play on my fav roads over there, with Sugi leading me astray ... however my body had other ideas. .. this getting old lark is not alot of fun had a brutal day yesterday & was not up for a ride that distance. sooo made a wee plan B

My partner in crime was also feeling the effects of two full on days so a coffee & chat was in order .. even though we had chatted yesterday so a gentle to palmy & a fortifying coffee later it was time to see who was coming out to play .. Text 1 was enjoying a bevvy after work so that was out .....ahh I know .. text two & after a wee tease, cajole & wink a tiger was let out of his cage to play

The pussy cat responded with a nice growl & a fun ride ensued with BB pulling a dodgy maneouver at the lights to leave him in her wake .. however then said pussy cat just had to give BB the learn & pulled a really nice wheelie ..

so after another fortifying latte & hot chocy a beaut evening out there & twisted the tiger's arm to come out for a ride .. what was going to be slow pootle, turned into a nice wee pace since the roads were quiet, quick stop at opiki when my visor went to pop off so got that fixed .. hit the lead & spidey sense was on full alert seen mr plod in the distance, luckily BB & tiger managed to scrub enough speed off to appear respectable, (methinks he could not be bothered turning around & giving chase)

anyhow a smoke break in shannon before BB & tiger parted ways, headed for home to feed the horses, where I would normally change to a cage .. but this riding was just to enjoyable so carried on through, horses taken care of time to get home, wash BB & tuck her into bed

Great to catch up Carmen & Al .. lets do it again real soon

Brilliant wee pootle, spent most of it laughing .. and even better not a gravel road in sight

I finally popped my cherry on the track .
Decided to do track day on Saturday with the Pacific Club, Pauly decided he should escort me around for the first session, so he borrowed Paul Buckley's SV650 race bike, me being rather nervous, we headed out. OMG what an awesome experience, followed Pauly around for the first lap, and then he decided to go abit faster and I decided not to push too much at that stage.
    Couldnt stop smiling.
Due to me doing the dummy grid for the weekend, I missed a couple of the next sessions but then headed out after lunch for another go, and once again throughly enjoyed every minute of it.

Had a huge day yesterday with the racing. Then us being as mad as we are, we headed off to Speedway last night (well worth it).

Went to get up this morning and the body didnt want to co-operate, legs are very sore so decided a day at home was in order.

All in all had an awesome weekend. Roll on next track day

mmm might have to look at new tyres soon, as Pauly decided to take my bike out for the last session. He was amazing at how well it performed so hence tyres are very well scrubbed

    Wot.......lol

Ah yes, a lovely night for a pootle. Good ole BB gave a good dragster impression there If I wasn't so mature I'd say that there's quite a bit of fun to be had lifting the front wheel on the main street, which was deserted at that time in the evening of course

Thought I would let you all know that the rite off Tiger went for $11800 at Turners auction today. I sure a bike shop bought that one.
