    Update!!!
Casts came off on Friday - both of them!!
I am off work on ACC for at least the next three weeks..... (riding time?)
Go to physio 5 days per week.
Yesterday I went pillion with Mstrs on the old shitter the bike shop has lent him while his is in waiting for parts.
I haven't got back on my bike yet, my ankle/foot is too weak to change gear... but at least I am no longer confined to the cage, and it feels great, let me tell you!

Feewind??!!? .... It's just too easy...

Get to the pool for some good physio, just gently to start - water jogging is good.

Awesome news Yungatart!!! Keep up with the physio exercises and the leg and ankle will soon be stronger. You will be back on the EL in no time flat. All the best.

Oh and dont forget to strengthen up the leg and foot to kick all the backsides belonging to people who were cheeky to you whilst in plaster.

    Oh the relief!

A woman I work with came to grief in a car this side of Bennydale(?), maybe not a million miles from where you had your misfortune. She has a broken neck and is in a brace which is screwed in to holes bored in her skull. The screws need to be tightened every week or so...

    She has had better summers...

It only took 25 months for me to complete that ride!
Went to New Plymouth this weekend and rode home over Mt Messenger (which I enjoyed, no mean feat actually, cos I don't really like twisties), through the Awakino Gorge and round Yungatart's corner!
It felt really good to finally finish what I started!
No need for a 'taxi' this time either!
