Let me know if you need some heavy duty tools, I have almost everything you could need, including really big hammers...Also car axle stands if that would help...Only thing I ask is that you don't then onlend them to cowboyz, he tends to look after them a little too long hahahaha

    Just sing out mate...
Was going to say Cowboyz has a hammer(toolbox to some),but thought it was probably yours.

Speaking of tools, might be time for me to start starting up own tool collection and first tool will be a torqe wrench. Realised how useless the tools in my bikes tool bag are.

I wouldn't make a torque wrench priority mate.. A good one isn't cheap and that money could be well spent on other things. ( good socket set, good screw driver set, good ring open ender set ) These are the basics that every person job will demand.

With the way things are put together these days there is so much lock etc etc a torque wrench is rarely used. I'd only recommend it for engine internals, everything else just make sure it is secure.. ie tighten, go for short ride then re-check..

Really bad luck. Classics are always temperamental but this just shouldn't happen. I would have thought a new belt would be stronger than that. Was it definitely a stone that caused this? Best of luck with the repairs.
