Having a radar detector doesnt make me ride any faster
I like to travel around 120 kph on the main roads where its safe too but unfortunatly thatll cost me a reasonable size ticket, hence the detector. It has saved me a few dollars over the short time i have had it

Couldn't agree more. Apparantly there were pics taken at the accident site, but none of the gravel! These roading authorities need to be made aware just how dangerous their slack practises are to bikes.

I agree we dont want to have to make lots of rules, but everyone needs to realise that we have a huge range of riders from experienced to very new, and some of us on new bikes who are still getting the hang of them.

Maybe we do need to have a speech at the beginning of each ride since we seem to be attracting lots of new riders to the Friday nights.

WTF is a TEC. From MADAR. Good call on the clearer briefing. There is a often a degree of confusion. Experienced / faster / smoother riders can be a bit intimidating on a ride when overtaking and I've probably been just as bad. Now I snooze - sorry cruise.

Been there with the race track thing - What's with lost ? - GPS gurus on hand.

A real concern with Hanshi and the roads situation. Roading teams have been held liable before. I encountered those Pahiatua roads when they were sealing them (Caravaning) and wanted to post / warn but had no internet. I was hoping no one was riding that way for a while. Is there a roadworks log that can be accessed or approach Higgies etc. for pre warning?

Does Hanshi need help with the kennels? One man band?

Well if I get there tomorrow, I'll probably be on the 250, so the only thing I'm likely to pass is a squashed opossum!

You are way to bloody modest mate, shit even on a 20yr bike you make it work well,a joy to follow and learn off. Then you go whoosh and vanish lol.

And as for truckies losing loads when we had a glass claim the insurance company asked us if it was xyz company, yep we said to them, insurance company had spoken to cops and the trucking company were sent costs to fix on behalf of them (insurance co),at least 3 or 4 claims from one insurance company.

Not too much crap on the road as the locals would have it but if your a country road Virgin more than you would like...while all this was happening the 9 had vanished from the mirrors so that saying things appear closer than they are hmmmmm gotta think about that now!!!!

still going and stopped at highland park intersection sarge and cowboyz came into site so carry on no time for smoke breaks tonite and once at pilgrims rest time to slow down as it was a straight yip more bends at the end bikes insight........10ks up the road 86 came into sight cripes mate you took your time
