I just looked a bit closer. They both seem to have that Japanese Shitmano componentry so it's sure to be a dead heat where they both finish last.

    Campagnolo FTW

Y'know, you'd get on well with madbikeboy, swapping mutual agreement on cycling topics as your mounts sunned themselves in the native Campagnolo territory of flatlands and cafes.

Anyhow, win or lose, I'm sure we'll be a whole lot slower than all the gentlemen in California riding 26km flat out later today.

    Go Lance!

My Campy-equipped Colnago and I haven't forgotten the gauntlet you threw down for K2 Dan...

I do have a copy of Dover's book of excuses handy, but unfortunately it seems to lack a bicycle section.

Let me guess....You guys left the line setting a solid pace...after a few KM you noticed an un-nerving feeling coming from your crotch???

Then you realised!!............my sexy lycra bike shorts are probally one size too small...and far to tight!! they were choking your extremities...you needed help!!

You pulled over...and tryed to remove them to no availe!!! quick call to 111 and the next thing you woke up in a hospital bed hearing the nurses chuckle about the exploritry surgery the doctor had to do on your arse to retrive every last bit of lycra ???

    Am I right??? I am arn't I??
