haha yeah I just head south from palmy and stop in the first town with more pubs than people
    You must be joking.

Adventure riding is ok but any kind of riding is better than no riding, and being a pillion could be the next trick, It works for Al.
I've done quite a bit of dirt riding but adventure riding sounds a bit different, I like the idea of heading along a route as opposed to just around a big track where ya eventually end up back where you started from.

I like playing in water or mud, even jelly.

I should'nt have shown Sandra the video clip now i'm in trouble. The world is a small place on a computer. At least she has'nt got the clip. Well i don't know as she was playing on my computer last night. Or should i say doing house work for me as i'm a male and those jobs are best kept to the ones who know how it works.
haha don't worry we all have the image in our mind of what happened and you know how bad imaginations can make things

Just been to the hospital for my weekly checkup. All going well I should have the pins out Friday week, then a bit of physio. Anticipating reasonable use of my hand quite soon. I'm supposed to start moving it more and more from now on. That was a bit difficult to begin with but much better now. I think I had better get that insurance claim form in very soon.

Thanks Sarge Yep, I'll be taking it easy until it feels right. The doc was quite impressed with the rate of healing of the ribs and shoulder and my hand feels quite good, tho I wouldn't want to be in an emergency braking situation just yet. I did get a bit light headed with the bandages off, your mortality comes home when you see how easy it is to get badly damaged.

That's why I better get that form filled in! Up to now, I haven't been able to write, and it was a bit of a 'no hurry' situation. If I get onto it now it should all be done and dusted just in time

Well said guys! The Manawatu used to be a very cool place to ride motorcycles. Now it has degenerated somewhat. Bonez, the crap will be chucked out as requested Can we PLEASE keep these threads on topic.

In saying that, the Sunday rides are a great idea, and we would love to check out the maiden ride if we can
