I only posted that so at your funeral I could say "well, I did suggest a more sensible bike for him to buy!"

But yeah, progressing from a 250cc Hyobagofshit to a litre sports bike is perfectly fine - what's the worst thing that could happen!

Fizbin... mate, are you really trying to get yourself killed !!! is there no talking you out of a 1000 ish bike ?

As for the license side of things... why don't you go sit that defensive street doofer thingy, that would reduce your restricted to a 3 month TOTAL I believe.. so would be within the month, or there abouts ???

Name someone that's written off 3 road bikes in less than a year.

Well i would be worried about you takin the step up, but i know you have ridden big bikes before, and ridden them with a bit of gusto too
Just give it the respect it deserves while you're getting the hang of it, and you'll be right. As i learnt very quickly, it only goes as fast as you tell it to

If you wanna come along next wed throw some gear in the car and stop by mine after work. We'll cruise over on the beastie and you can drive back later with no traffic
