I'm tempted to come along for a ride tonight, seeing as summer is almost gone and I've had bugger all time on the bike lately.

How long are you normally out for? (By that I mean riding time, I realise the hanging around afterwards time is infinitely variable)
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

I'll try to be there (if I finish work on time), since the Wednesday night ride didn't happen.

Bugger, had hoped to make this tonight. Just finished work now so not enough time to go home and get bike. Have a good ride.

I would've come along tonight... if I'd made it to the bike shop in time to collect from its service.

A great ride tonight, enjoyed it immensely, despite being blown all over the road by the wind. Thanks to LeMans, Neels and Retroqueen for helping to sort out my front lamp. Wouldn't have been much fun riding back into Christchurch with no light.

It was a good wee ride all right.
I'm glad I went even if the weather looked a bit dodgy.
I glad I found that my carb was loose on the poor old dear.
She doesn't run well on one, thanks also for the tools to tighten up the clamp.

I hope Pam enjoyed her self.

And Retro, shit your head light is bright, I had a warm back all the way home.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

Would have been a dodgy ride home with no headlight, I kept an eye on my mirror to make sure it was still working

Great night for a ride, haven't been for a decent thrash over the hills for ages. Next time I'll have to remember to gas up before I go though, it's a bit ugly switching to reserve in the windy bits (both kinds tonight).
