looks good. I was goin to tag along but woke at 11am and thought that you may have already left (even though meeting was only at 8)

they are different. Did you get to take it on the open road? Do they bank into corners?

I'd go a silver one, strip the paint off it and paint it BLACK.
Shame I missed it - would have been quite keen to have a wee ride on something pretty different. When is the "Ride a Ural" day?

    no, they do NOT bank

you try to lean into the corner and then realise it's all very wrong and wonder what the hell is going on and exactly which part of the pavement you're about faceplant into

once you let yourself go with the err....bike/car? (edit: and remember to turn the handlebars), you essentially sit straight ish but let your weight (and the grip) go to the outside front tyre

ABS, traction control, foot brake only (3 discs, stops on a dime), 990 Rotax engine, heaps of torque, choice of a tiptronic type jobbie or a manual, a couple had the after market exhaust and they sounded superb

they're also quite comfortable and have a sizeable 'boot' in the front, and they were telling me there's also a proper set of topbox, panniers, etc available as well

No, as I suspected it was a escorted test ride which was fine by me as my sense of direction SUCKS!
They don't bank into corners, Yod put it together best, weight you're outside peg and push the outside handle bar seemed to work best, at least for the limited time we had.
Hyper sensitive steering at the on centre position and slightly touchy brake made it difficult to be smooth but I guess you'd get used to that. Very comfy and ride pretty well.
