    Some Kiwiana from me.

That map of NZ- too much! The general idea is great - was the inksmith a Kiwi?

Actually I can believe it, some tattooists I have met, I would be very afraid of getting drunk around.
My eldest brother has a motor tattooed on his shoulder blade and its backwards...He didn't notice for ages cause when he looked in the mirror at it (the only way he could see it) it was around the right way. He was my mothers poster child for why I should not get tattooed. Thankfully I am not easily scared.

Phil from Ponsonby RIP - it won best arm some years ago and he was very proud of it. He also did my other arm in the same theme but I can't find a pic.

There are some really good old type NZ fauna books at libraries etc, ones that artists have done the illustrations- they are good for inspiration.

    Cheers for that.

Some folks are a bit funny about discussing how much they spend on their ink, so i thought I'd be diplomatic.

I guess I forgot I was talking to you eh!
