Yeah could do. Wont be till later in the day though. Im off work, crook as with this stupid head cold thing that is not letting up and I predict I will need as much time as possible in the weekend as I can get. I have 2 small Suzuki's that both need a rather large hammer, if you know what I mean....

Will let you know closer to the time...

Does the H take the same piston as the MB? I have a spare second-hand one you can stick in it if they match.

Yes it does, but old pistons are on borrowed time in a race engine & should be changed before the blow or could cause more damage. I think it may have been first oversize anyway (maybe 0.25 in a Honda? Yams go in 0.25 but suzis in 0.5), but man than was so long ago, maybe 8 or 9 years ago that I put a piston in.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Sunday claimed another mechanical victim... Found out today i borked the piston & rings, large difference in wet & dry compression so when we took the head / barrel off realized it's time to find another piston

No mine wasn't as bad, but it I had in fact raced that last all-in it may have been... as it is the barrel's getting cleaned up tomorrow and we won't have to go oversize on the piston so all is well.

Rumour has it that a few thou are being shaved at the same time

Must admit, I'm amazed it kept going as well as it did seeing as it was losing compression.

Bugger. Good news is mine was still running at the end of the day and I think it still goes.
