A good ride with 31 bikes and a couple of pillions. I came home early and the hill was quiet.

Here for the ride.
What an awesome night for it.
Captain Andrey and myself went for a ride around the lake hence we arrived at the White Swan a little late. A lot of people had already left by the time we got there. Was a good little detour though and a chance to wind the bikes out a little.
The one thing I miss on the Daytona are headlights which turn with the handlebars. Can't see snot when its dark on the Taka's and you're leaning the bike into a corner.
Stopped at the top and admired the stars for a short while.
All that's left now is clean the millions of bugs of the visor, clothing and bike and we are ready for next Wednesday.
Was another good night(I forgot to pull the camera out at the mid-way stop and at the end... d'oh)
Shall see you guys all next week! I'll be bringing the car![]()

Another good ride tonight, only one more ride to go,seems to have gone fast this year
Great to see all of you again and wicked ride. So shall we make the last one a real special one? Something really different maybe? Any ideas?

Was a great ride and an interesting trip home! Had a bit of an "incident "just before that new seal a te marua, I was bringing up the rear behind david, what he saw in his rear vision was this. Loud scraping noise followed by a shower of sparks and the disaparance of my headlight in his rear vision... When he turned and came back he found my bike PARKED on the hard shoulder and me in full gears sprinting down the road after a run away wheel... The car behind me lost it's whole wheel!I pulled over thinking to go check they o.k (was thinking blow out) when said wheel bounced past! Had some speed on it! I wanted to clear it of the road before another bike came off the hill. Madness.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker
We came, We listened, And in one voice we answered
BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!
I need to remember to take the clear visor next week - Takas with tinted visor at night was not much fun. Hence every other bike flying past me as i couldnt see a thing, ended up popping up the visor and trying to fight the bugs hitting my face.
Thanks for the ride - was good to be back even tho i was very corner shy.
Much thanks for an excellent ride. That was the fourth time I have been over the hill. On the way over I took it easy (with apologies to anyone I held up) concentrating on smooth cornering. On the way back (once my tires warmed up) I let rip a bit which was tempered by my headlights always pointing in the direction of the bike (man some of those corners are dark a scary looking
). It was nicely topped off by following a group of bikes through the hutt into town. Cheers and beers and I'll have to be on my best behaviour so I can come out for the last.

Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.
was an awaome night, my poor little 250 was smelling a bit fried in places, next week im in rain or shine, going to miss escaping reality for a while on a wednesday
Im glad i was following you down from the summit, couldnt believe how bug free it was back there, you must have picked them all up and left none for me![]()
The TR!!TNR is pretty gruesome lol. I binned my bike on it, lost my virgin to the Taka there. Not a bad place too. Now anyone know where I can pick up a spare Rear Brake/Foot peg set? Snapped it off
