From the pic of him I saw y'day, he looked very much like a gang member, although the paper (obviously) didn't say anything of the sort.
He'll probably be with a lot of his 'family' in prison.

It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
He's only been in the country a year. Who let him in????
Personally I think road rage comes down to not waving enough!!!

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
It's an interesting topic for sure. There's no excuse for what that guy did and same goes for the other incidents mentioned.
Personally, I find I don't get upset on the bike, as I know I'll be past and away in seconds if I come up behind your typical incompetent. I get most frustrated with drivers who can't hold a consistent speed.
Surprisingly, when I took my Son-in-law to New Plymouth last weekend in the MX5, I didn't get frustrated then either. It's the next best thing to a bike in traffic and a barrel of fun anywhere!
It's really only in the Pulsar I get frustrated as it doesn't have the grunt to pass quickly and it's a "normal" cage.
I do find in traffic that while some see me coming and move over, (including the cops), the flash car drivers tend to doggedly remain close to the line and refuse. Even the big rigs will often veer over to let me through!
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
Just spray and walk away!

My theory with road rage or any kind of violence (be it toward children, women or older people or anyone really) is that the perpetrator for what ever reason goes beyond the point of reason, they cross the line and allow their anger to override any logical feelings - I dunno why because it's not something I know a lot about. You know, instead of stopping and thinking 'Okay this is an old guy' they just allow their anger to take hold, you that saying "blind with rage", it must be like that.
I do think there's a difference between anger/violence that causes people to lash out quickly (like road rage) and they type of ongoing abuse that was inflicted upon the poor little girl that was (among other things)put in the drier.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
He must have had a good life till now. Why else would he get so upset about a little dent in a car? Nothing bad ever happened to him before I guess...
Ride fast or be last.
I see in the Harold that one witness called the offender a "body builder".
Roid rage?????????
Tougher punishment with no luxerys in jail. Death penalty. Dont let so many bros off the boat.
Ive a favourite road rage story from many moons ago, when much younger and working in Wellington as a hammer hand i was in a real hurry to get home after work one day so left my pouch on,threw on my swanny jumped on the bike (TT500) and off, stopped at a set of lights on the one way i get driven into from behind, not hard enough to knock me off but almost,i turn round to see 3 guys in a Holden ute laughing it up,the fact that it was deliberate made me see red so sidestand down walked back to the ute pulled out the Estwing and demolished there windscreen, bastards even had the gall to start screamingwalked back to the bike and carried on home, looking back it still makes me laugh,of all the days to piss around with someone on a bike.
