    Word and Excel training wanted

Went for a job today, well saw a agency any way and they told me to do a word and excel course to improve my chances I live in central auckland (arch hill) Just wondering if any body knows any good course. Just got made redundant so a day time course is all good.

Go and register with Manpower Professional, let them help you find a job - they are also a recruitment agency, candidates who register with them have access to the Global Learning Centre where you can upskill your MS @ no charge. A cheaper option if you are interested.

PM me if you need details.

I dont think someone sitting with him will help him, unless they are a MS certified trainier, when people asses you for MS skills they check your knowledge on how the programme works from ground level up, now that only comes from years of experience or doing a course - thats just my opinion.

I was a fuckin excel guru.

But it's been a while. Problem is that unless you need to use it then chances are you'll forget it anyway.

Makes sense actually. I was thinking if he didnt have to prove he had a certificate, he just needs to show a proficiency in it, it would get him a job.

Contact WINZ... they provide a free MS Office training through a company I think is called FreeB.

They have branches of FreeB all over... I know there is one in Highbury (birkenhead, Auckland)... there may be one near you

Anywhere that trains you for free is good.

Anyone giving you free training and certificates at the end of it is better...

I'm pretty sure that these FreeB courses are NZQA approved and do provide certs at the end.

I did my A+ course with a chick who now teaches at the Highbury branch and she reckons its the same stuff we were taught to get our credits from NZQA for our student loans for the A+
