You think a large minority (what the fuck is a large minority??) is corrupt. Jesus Christ mate swap our Police for what the aussies have. Try bitching when you get pulled over there like people do over here and see what happens.

Yeah we got problems, certainly with crime response, but we don't have the wide spread corruption that other police departments have.

Allow me to explain it to you with an example:

If 2% of cops are corrupt then that is a minority yes?
Now if 25% of cops are corrupt then that is still a minority because the other 75% are not, yet even though it is a minority it is still a large percentage and thus a large minority. What one considers a as a large or small minority really depends on them. It's really not a hard concept to grasp.

Just because the Australia's police system is more corrupt or whatever you say they are shouldn't serve as an excuse for our New Zealand police force. Yes comparison is a interesting tool but just because another country's police force is failing doesn't make our failures any better or make our problems any better.

Because someone else is in debt of $200,000 it doesn't help your situation of being in debt of $100,000. Does it?


You don't see support when it is there. Read my post again and you'll see I am quite supportive of the New Zealand Police, I support them being better equipped to do their jobs by being provided with the taser for example.
