made 1 mistake - went down to 300ft indicated instead of 300ft agl when descending into the low flying area. other than that it was just serious concentration for the solid 2 hours.

back to flying the pitts now

    What was the ground elevation?

Low flying area that we use is over water, so I won't have to worry about that.

about 170-180ft. flying low over the ocean is a lot easier than low over the gound - crosswind has much more impression when you're 50' over a line of trees, plus there's thermals and rotor action and the ground to worry about. precautionary landings and glide approach/landings are a lot easier too
don't you guys use the pokeno paddocks?

    Congrats Marty!

Do you mean over the Mercer swamp, close to the skydiving strip?
