    Why??
Surely this is an over-reaction, we all know that he is still learning and has a LOT to learn, but he has improved some and has shown evidence of listening to advice (unlike some others). If we all refuse to ride with him then we cannot help to improve the situation right?
Mark suffers from youthful stupidity, granted, but I think people need to lighten up on him. The 'brotherhood' of riding should be taking a bit more of an interest in helping Mark to overcome his shortcomings I feel.
Constantly bashing someone for the mistakes they make can only make the situation worse, and increase the likelihood of him not listening to advice because he knows it will only be critical and insulting.
Lets try to be a more constructive huh guys n gals?

    Cool

Only the riders on the ride last night know what Skidmark did.

I was there but I am not going to put it up on here what he did for another Skidmark bashing from riders who werent there.

He apologised to those concerned at the end of the night and as far as I know it has now been sorted.

    Lets leave it at that.

Mark is a young lad, and has a lot of energy to burn.... and he just needs to learn to direct that energy in the right direction. He will do that in time, just like everyone else has done.

Skidmark - I accepted your apology and hope you will take in what I said to you.

Definitely agree with you there Mac, no need to give him ear bashing I am sure he's had enough of those last nite he's a young boy and will learn over time. I think he should still come for rides with us, overall a good funny bugger he is !

Well, it doesn't bother me if he rides with us again, I just don't think he'll be welcomed with open arms.

Apologies are great, but he also needs to follow this up with acknowledging his behaviour causes concern to those he rides with and take steps to rectify this. If he can do this, then I will welcome him.

Mark has stacked it on the open rd.
Mark came on one of the Scooterclub rides ages ago on a cheap shitty Chinese/taiwanese monkey bikes.
normally its only Italian/euro scoots, but we felt sorry for him and let him join us.
he was going sooo slow that we had to get him to lead the group otherwise we would have left him behind.
theres a section of tight twisties out west ......and you guessed it . Mark binned it and failed to take a corner.
    Texmo saw it.
How can you go that slow and still fall off?

Thumbs up Enough of the Mark bashing - he's a good bloke

He has some good skills on his bike - certainly a more capable rider than I am and alot more confident. I think he just needs to work on his behaviour when riding in a group. The worst thing when group riding is not knowing WTF the rider in front/next to/ or behind you is going to do next.

Mark - I really don't want to be guessing what's going to happen next when rounding a corner at 100 km/h!

Don't ban SKIDMARK - The rides would not be the same without him

Nobody is bashing nor banning Mark. The comment was that he may not be welcome. You are exactly right when you say he needs to work on his group riding skills. I think the major issue is that for some of us, we've been there before with another rider, it makes one somewhat cynical. For what it's worth I personally like both Mark and the other rider. I just don't want to see anyone getting hurt either on or off the bike.

Not that funny really Mark...can you really blame others here for not wanting to ride with you...and yes yes you've heard it a thousand trillion times, and still havn't got the message - BEHAVE YOURSELF WHEN RIDING A MOTORCYCLE, save the idiot stuff for when you are alone, preferrably off-road!

    See ya out there boy.
