I've got a Hyosung too, and though I'm a complete n00b of a rider I've been out on the motorway.

Around 110km/h seems to be the wind vs acceleration point..without hugging the tank that is....(not that I'd drive that fast on my learners occifer)...I'm sure that's more than you'll need for a restricted test

Dont know what you guys are doing?

Don't know what you guys are doing wrong... but no problems with mine!

Kept up reasonably well with 2 x 600cc bikes this weekend just gone, the only time they lost me was when I got stuck behind a cage.. and even that was for less than a minute!

And the other Hyobag was doing 150km with out to many probs ... i.e. didn't need a 3km long straight to wind up!

But I more or less stuck to the rules during breaking in period and even then left it for a while before thrashing it!

Even now, on the 919, there is a marked difference between a cold engine, and a warm one.
what, the 919 takes 3 mins to get to 140?

i took a vtr250 2 up out to raglan, and it happily sat at 130-140, climbed the divi no sweat, and coped with it all admiriably.

    and i'm a fat cunt.

Yeah - the VTR is a good 250 - the relatively high torque compensates for the lack of power - would be nice to see a fully faired version with clip on handlebars though as these are the GT250R's advantage over the VTR.

Still the Comet shouldn't be too slow off the mark......
