So Labour sets up a 0900 number ...

    [RANT]
First they over spend their campaign advertising to some figure impressive figure of around $800,000.

Now that they want us to ring their 0900 number and make an automatic $10 donation so WE will pay off THEIR debt!

And what is in it for me?

Besides a phone bill, well, NOTHING of course!

Besides, I won't ring that number even if I voted for Labour and everything else to do with Labour because after all, every single politician is filthy rich earning big dollars and therefore can easily afford to repay it over night.

bahahahahahahhaa and I bet all the labour croonies (drug dealers and criminals) will whip around and get the debt payed off.

Its like stealing the money twice! First we pay for it, then they ask us to pay for it again!
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

When I heard Helen on the news talking about "having a whip-round" and reading out the 0900 number, I had one of those moments when the blood pounds in my ears, vision greys out a bit, and i feel dizzy. It's just unbelieveable.

    From the Labour party page:

    New Zealand Labour message

’The Labour Party stands for the ordinary hard working family. Our party has a strong commitment to policies promoting social justice and security and equality of opportunity. Labour cares for the well-being of all New Zealanders. New Zealand had become increasingly divided and the gap between rich and poor was getting wider after a decade of ideological "free-market" economic policies had hit many people hard. Labour is implementing policies aimed at addressing these issues as it recognises that New Zealand needs a skilled, confident and employed population to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. We are restoring a sense of balance in our society.’

I like the last line... a sense of balance... yes - we're all given the choice to assist them out of their predicament

They were confused by the rules and now they're asking for a hand out???

Soooooooo - A lot of people are confused by the bus lane usage rules, and if anyone gets a ticket the done thing is to set up an 0900 number???

With respect - WHAT THE FUCK?

Ahhhh my children. I'm so proud of you all.

    I have two questions.

    1) Whay aren't they charged use of money interest? If I was late paying tax I would be charged.

    2) This corrupt use of our money to over advertise Labours bullshit surely questions the results of last election.

Come on...fair's fair. If you overspent your credit card limit, the card company doesn't care where it comes from, they just want it paid back....

It's another dubious action from the most corrupt government this country has ever seen.
I would 'accept' that 'twould be OK as long as all monies collected were counted against their spending limit for the next election.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Labour seems to love the term 'whip round', I remember last time they had a whip around for the police officers who were charged with dangerous driving, whilst under orders to get the manlady to the airport for a fucking rugby game. No wonder Australia is laughing at NZ, we put monkeys in the driving seat.
