Me too. The tax issues will be nasty if we flood their bank account with money, along with the admin.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

and it can be a long term thing cause it is the future that is important cause right now ACC will do good but once they need a mobility vehicle which he can drive etc tnhen ACC get twitchy and these vehicles cost $120,000 so a Trust may help bridge gaps like this.

A trust account must be the way as far as big donations go.

But why don't we set up a KB account for smaller amounts that could simply be passed on to Donna as helpful spending cash?
Fuck, I'll bet there are heaps of members here that'll direct credit an account like that a few bucks a week!!

I'm sure a trustworthy KB senior member in Donna's area would be only too happy to pass on this small token.

Mate.....I'm a motorcycle salesman....there's no money in that! Who's got a violin I can borrow?

But seriously, I know only too well that people have financial commitments, as I deal with other's money every day. But if you think about it....even $1.00 from every caring KB member per week sure would help these guys.

There must be KBers with expertise in tax law who can provide advice as to the best way to allow funds to be transfered without tax implications for the recipients. Speak up, Bean Counters!

Good as gold guys. Looks like Donna will set up the trust account and send the number to us through SpeedyGirl. I will then alter the first post of this thread to show.

The support here is brilliant, thanks guys. For all the shit that we can spin, its a great feeling to see that we can pull together to help a fellow brother when he needs it.

Kind of like the little kid in Whanganui.

I know alot of people have their eyes on some of the bikes he has collected so maybe a high reserve auction on them once/if he decides to part with them would be another way of supporting him

    Was thinking the same thing.
