Just a thought, when I went to get one for my old mans bike last year I was told that I couldnt have a message plate on a bike plate, might pay to keep that in mind as I know it stuffed up the original ideas I had

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Yea I guess so, they didnt really give me a reason I was just told they couldnt do it. The guy I was talking to did suggest if I wanted to have messages to get one of those plastic number plate surrounds and get a sign writer to put the message on that and then put it on the bike with the plate.

Never seen one. There's enough room to just stick computercut letters straight on the plate. Wouldn't cost $100 - esp. if got from me.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I wanna get a plate for my bike but cant think of a way to word it so that it matches/resembles my cars... mainly cuz of the one less letter

It dont look right anyway I try to swap it around to read the same thing

I got one for the cage earlier this year (present) which had a message on it.
Because I hadn't actually put it on the cage and wanted it for the bike, it cost me an extra $60 to change it to 5 chars for the bike. I was also told that I couldn't have a message which changed the meaning of the plate somewhat.

Still ended up getting it for the bike as I ride the bike more than I drive the cage. Good thing is that the 5 chars still reads the same as the 6 chars but without the message, it reduces the impact. In the future, if I want to transfer it to a cage, the 5 chars will still work and I can get the message put back on.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Shite once upon a time when they first came out, I am sure they only cost $300 then they went up to $400. I thought they were still $400 to buy....

Thats one hell of lot of $$$$$$ on the front and back of vehicles.

Placidfemme - Hey since bikes only need one plate, then surely it would be cheaper?????????
