Hey! I just got back from Whangarei! I pootled up there today to scrub in a new front tyre from 'Treads ... $280 ... but the nice person there knocked $10 off the sticker price (they remembered me coming in two weeks ago to get the rear done!)

I took the Dargaville route back via Brynderwyn to Auckies ... nice ride and I'm pretty sure the front is well scrubbed in! Nice little practice for tomorrows ride up to Cape Reinga ... I saw a lot of trucks, wonder if one of them was meant to be for Fub@r's electric mango?

Only saw two other bikers in all that time ... and the set up in Whangarei for that A&P show! As I was riding through ... I saw a lot of Avocado and Tangelo sale signs... howsabout those for colours? Avocado Lime green and Citrus Tangelo heheh!

Good on ya mate...good roads up there wouldn't you agree??

A few too many straights on the way home from dargs though.

I'm heading up that way today to catch up with the family gonna be heading out through 16 up to wellsford than onwards and upwards from wellsford.

Oh GIJoe mate....had an awesome ride today.

went out 16 to wellsford, then up main drag towards dargaville. At Paparoa, took a detour and found some of the most heavenly roads ever known to a 250. Ended up at Maungatapere then headed towards dargs which gives you the best section of the route from whangarei to dargaville to enjoy. I arrived at the parents house with a stupid grin on my face from the ride.

To make this story relevant to the thread, i met another electric mangoe victim on the way back at wellsford. I directed him in the direction of KB, so there may be another joining the clan soon.

Pretty buggered after the days riding (550km's) but we'll be back into it tomorrow to join the 2-fiddy clan.

The Electric Mango has landed..........on with the gears and left the office for a nice ride around the Waterfront with Toymachine.

I have a feeling that tonights usual 15 minute run home will be the longest in history. 2 or 3 hours should cover it

Woot! Just remember to run it in properly and not go fanging off into parts unknown at a quicker pace than your previous Ginny! Remember to ride safely and get to grips with your new riding weapon!

Damn, sounds like everyones getting new rides!

    You can buy mine TM

Its had a few modifications since you last saw it... loooking gooood..

The list gets longer - TR's exhaust, renthal sprocket, K&N Filter, just put motul in it and changed the plugs and is running soooo goood... just got to get it on a dyno and make sure the carbs are balanced.

Highly recommend motul, pop down to red baron and pick some up, $39 for 4L... best money you will ever spend...

Red baron have got a gorgeous GSXR (same engine as older bandit but with 18k redline) going for 5.5k. If i had the money, i wouldve bought it on saturday. Fairly rare aswell, so you get to be different to all those cbrs...

Well after a good ride this evening I still can't remove the smile off my face

Don't know whether its because the GTR stands out like dogs balls or whether the Ginny just didn't cut it as a bike but every single bike that passed me going the other way made a noticable acknowledgement of me

i wouldnt buy that gsxr to be differant from a cbr, look at it. it looks exactly like a cbr hahah but most likely much harder to get parts for e.t.c

nice bike though its a shame there isnt more it would be good to have as much variety as possible in the 250 market. 250 riders are so passionete about there bikes and riding as we are all just starting out in this amazing adventure of motorbiking....
I lost my licence and i havent riddin all month!!!- YEAH RIGHT
