If anyone needs a place to stay I have a spare room which you are welcome to.

Only 5 minutes from the venue and I can garage your bike(s).

    Arm Bands

Black arm bads are not something I normally carry about.

I have a pack of black crepe paper left over from the kids party at the weekend. It would make passable arm bands unless anyone has other ideas?

I can cut them to size tonight and bring them along to the caltex meeting for anyone who needs.

Or perhaps attach a black band to the bikes because black jacket / black band not too visible... thoughts?

Personally I think pillion pegs down is sufficient.
Being there is by far the most important thing.

I agree hsv, maybe anyone who doesn't have black bike gear mey want to do the armband thing.
I've (thankfully) never attended a funeral on my bike before, and being a fairly typical female, "what black clothes should I wear?", but problem solved, my leathers are black. Anyway, that doesn't really have anything to do with anything, as you all were.

Alas I will have to be a square and won't be able to attend. I'll be there in spirit though.

We did black armbands at Flyin's funeral. Up to each person really. I'll have one and I'll be in my best leathers (the black ones).

Clear visors, open at low speeds and footpegs down are the done things.

A little early I know, but what with the time difference I just wanted to say that I hope all goes well tomorrow. I'll be there in spirit and I'm sure you'll give Bruce a quality send off, and his family all the support they need.

    All the best,
    Tony

i'm glad you said that, I was going to wear my mirrored one. (visor, that is) I'll bring my clear one along and swap it over at the duck pond.

that is just slack if you ask me
how long would it take to hold up traffic so we can ALL get out at the same time? 5min?

(but they will be out there to fill that Q word i bet..)
