Ummm, you can't practice track lines unless you're on a ...ummmm.... track? Any efforts to do otherwise will be useless or wind you up in a box.

    ditto.. really wouldn't..
go ride with someone, for sure. someone who knows something, even better
I've helped a couple of people with lines (mostly newbs, cos I'm always learning myself), and I've found the best way to learn; is off the bike.. but can't revile all my secrets.. Just take care. The road ain't the race track. And there's really nothing to practice for. The idea of track days, is so you're practicing off the road in a safe place. All the people around you will most likely be in the same boat, or one near you

    Phewwyy....

Perhaps we have a certain amount of miscommunication here.

We aren't practicing racing lines or anything that isn't allowed on public roads. We’re just going for a relaxed ride to practice riding in general, get some general ride time in and organise our schedules for the 22nd.

I don't really want too many people turning up and would prefer fewer riders to keep things simple.

Postie, Buggy and Thrashy - Cheers for your concern guys and thanks for thinking of our best interests, don't worry it's all good.

    Kind regards,
    JSG
