The first time I ever heard of a Parachute festival, there was no mention of it being a christian music festival. I asked if we had to bring our own canopies, were there repacking facilities on site, and what sort of jump planes were being used.

I am still waiting for the answers.

What's the lineup this year? I wish I'd gone to see Anberlin, Day of Fire, Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch over the past few years, as they seem to be too busy nowadays as they've got new albums to promote

PM hXc - he's bound to know - or you could go to the Parachute website....

I'm not too sure.. but I've heard a couple of theories:

1: Some one parachuted into the first one

2: The first one was held under a parachute for a canopy

whether either one of those are true or not I have no idea

Oh, I think I've seen Jase a few times... not sure though

Or could it be that Jesus is your Parachute ?? .. i was always under the impression that the Parachute festival was a thinly disguised Christian recruitment drive.

But please ... correct me if I'm wrong

There's an idea - make up some bumper stickers saying "Jesus is my parachute" and sell them on the gate. You'd make a fortune!

BTW - I want a cut thanks. Idea's like this dont just fall out of the sky.

Parachute is the name of a Christian music label.

    It's their festival.

    It's called the Parachute Festival.

    Tada!

Distinctly different. Feel free to make your own stickers, but seeing as the bumper sticker idea was mine, then I want a cut off that too please.
