    Damn!

    Get well soon

The missus recently had the same leg break in the same spot and she was up and about in no time.

Thanks so much for all the messages of sympathy...unfortunately they have been directed to the wrong person...I hate looking after cripples - it's such a boring and thankless task. Is there a kind person out there who can take over??
Col - I have a feeling there may be reason to make that dogbox just a little larger!!
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Don't you just hate it when that happens. Heal well Janet.

It will be a year ago tomorrow (26 December) since I broke a collarbone, helmet, brand new jacket and an ST1300 at Bulls.

A salient reminder to take care folks. The ground is very hard. And unforgiving.

Fuck sake people what the hell is it with you lot on the other side of the road? If I read this the above post correct you YT could have ended up like all the others that have hit something head on... 'just missing' a huge big rock would have been the least of your problems.

As for your "bike went wide" comment... fuck me, the bike only goes wide cos you let it, are going to fast, are out of control, need to learn how to ride, hell I dont know... I expect it went wide due to a flattie or something darft?

That being said... glad ya not to bad hope the bike is mendable, now rest up, get better and for gods sake... learn from it and share with others what ya learn.
    cheers DD

Sorry bro. I'd have a lot more sympathy if you had'nt just scored a support vehicle to cart all your stuff around the south island. That's making lemonade out of a bag of lemons if ever I heard of such a thing.
Mind you, if she breaks something next christmas I'd be thinking there's a bit of a pattern emerging.

Ouch. How the heck did you get up enough speed to cause that sort of damage?

Yet more evidence that the rubber side is best pointed downwards, not sideways.

    Get well soon Janet.
