Sorry to hear it guys - that's the kind of news I wish on no-one. Both of you - good luck with whatever comes your way.

I also must admit i didn't know the relationship and never asked. Presumed it. But still wasn't sure.
Sorry to hear about the split.

Noel, I haven’t met you yet (I do hope to) and have had some good advice from you via KB.

I am sorry to hear about this and I know from experience that the transition to your new lives will be mixed and complicated but probably for the best in the long run.

There will be lots of people giving “advice” from all angles in the months to come but for me the only advice that made complete sense was to get the paper work sorted pronto, especially the matrimonial property agreement.

Anyway best wishes to you both.

    Andy

Yeah but she is a clued up woman who can spot bullshit advice from a mile away...

I can say from what I have seen from experiences of close male friends... not all men "operate" like...

Each man to himself as always...

Good luck Noel as per my pm

Advice should be taken like medicine, only when you need it and only what will help with what ails you.
All the best to you both.

Breaking up is a hard thing to do - so many emotions. Years ago, my wife and I decided to part ways. It was a mutual decision between me and her 5 friends. That was 8 years ago but I got over it last week. I'm fine, really.
