Drivers bars sounds great to me as they have the motorsport themeand nice people to talk to also. They also said that they are willing to tape the motogp and sbk races and play them for us on the thursday nights when we are there. Added bonus I say. I will try to get to Drivers bar on Thursday just have to find a way to get there.

For those that were not at the pub thursday, I was thinking about making this a group thing like Auckland is trying to organize. All of us and whoever we want to bring showing up at the theatre. Gonna go talk to the theatres this weekend aswell and see if I can manage a group discount or something aswell.

Yep...is the go innit! Saves staying up to a ridiculous hour and then not...ie falling a bloody sleep when the adult sized bikes come on

Notice: The oko has $5 meals (size: abit bigger than a snack) every tuesday nite, different flavour every wk, apparently worth the ride over for. If any one interested let me know, lets make a tuesday nite of it maybe once a month.

Yep glad to see decision made on Drivers Bar. Its central to everyone (gotta say its a 25k commute to R&T), so I think more will turn up more regularly, and always keen on a ride before hand, even if in winter we are getting back in the dark, thats fine.
As for the Tuesday nites very very keen (especially if we get fed for $5!). We should make that that last Tuesday of every month, then at least we will get one in this month.
Looking forward to a 'regular' watering hole especially if its motorsport oriented, sounds spot on! I know the outdoor area isnt perfect, but A) I dont smoke so dont really care; and B) Its winter coming up so again dont really care;
See you there this Thursday (apologies in advance will be on the piss in Auckland Wednesday night so expect to be a little slow Thursday).
