I was just thinking about doing something completely different next week![]()
How about we start the ride as per normal (6pm start etc), quick ride and then go to the movies to see the new WILD HOGS movie?
It looks bloody funny![]()
There is one screening at 6.30pm?
Your thoughts?
If we can get 10 or more adults, the cost will be $11.00 each?
A group of middle-aged friends decide to rev up their routine suburban lives with a freewheeling motorcycle trip. Taking a long dreamed-of breather from their stressful jobs and family responsibilities, they can’t wait to feel the freedom of the open road.
When this mis-matched foursome, who have grown far more used to the couch than the saddle, set out for this once-in-a-lifetime experience - they encounter a world that holds far more than they ever bargained for. The trip begins to challenge their wits and their luck, especially during a chance run-in with the Del Fuegos, a real-life biker gang who are less than amused with their novice approach.
As they go looking for adventure, they soon find that they’ve embarked on a journey they will never forget.
Cheers Scott
Dusty Butt 1000km - We knocked the bugger off what next?
Yeah, I forgot you had the radar.
I did'nt know it was you behind me until you passed as being a bit dark all I could make out was a slight yellow colour behind and my damn mirrors kept dropping so I could'nt see sweet FA.
Does anyone know what happened to the riders we lost on the journey up?
Wasp etc?
What a great day for a ride.
Have got some visitors up from Welly, all have their bike licence.
Took all 4 of the bikes out at once today for about 4hrs around my area, Havelock and Napier.
Ended up pit stopping at the Puketapu pub for a brew.
A few guys were there on their compressors but we were'nt deemed good enough to talk too...![]()
A few more guys wandered in on different makes and models, had chats to them.
A guy rounded the corner at a wicked speed on a 996 Duc, and in flash had gone in a blink, was impressive!
Was bloody neat sitting there outside talking about bikes, watching bikes go past........makes it all worth while.
Saw a small group of sprotbikes parked at the Roy's hill rd turnoff on the way home, must of been meeting to go somewhere.
Rode the Triumph today, my mate was on my Duc......all the time I wished I was.
Something wrong there.........hmmm........
Picked up a few stragglers, they all followed us home, sat on the balcony overlooking HW50 and the ranges, sunk more brew, bliss........
Great day to be a biker!!!!!
Looking forward to the ride this week. Any plans?
I plan to ride and stay on my bike! Don't know what yu other buggers are planning tho.

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

i ride most thrusday nights up here with ATNR so im keen to carry that on in my home town.
Hi hater!
Welcome back to the Bay.
As this is the last week of daylight saving, we will probably go to weekend rides through the winter.
Watch this space for details.
There is a group here that rides on Thursday nights but not sure if they ride through winter or not.

Hi Hater - Us Wednesday riders are the cruisy-paced ones. Thursday guys (mostly not KBers) are the 'It's a race and you aint beating me' guys. Both groups will move to Sat PM from next week.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
