Thanks to every one that helped organise, and make the day possible, CHEERS.

Very special thanks goes to Mikey for all his support and help, he's a legend, to Flame of course for all the encouragment, and believing I could do it, also to VasalineWarrior, for the use of his wheels, making it possible to swap from slicks to wets a tad quicker. (Your front wheel was the second quickest up the hill on day one bro )

As for the racing, IT WAS THE SCARIEST, and most fun I've ever had on a bike!!!

I've never won before, and anything I try to say sounds kinda smarmy to me, so thanks to everyone for a great day, and hope to see more people there next year.
You owe me a piss up cunt.

I do believe that all that hardcore schooling I gave you on the goat track must have helped increase your pace.

And Trashie was gonna buy us piss so if you're a true winner you'd do the same.

Yup, fuggin' good coupla days out. I decided to maximise my dollar value and spend as much time on every run as I possibly could thereby creating a more favourable $/minute quotient. Translation: I was slower than a wet week but had a blast anyway.

Some awards that haven't been mentioned:

Coolest bike: the stripped down retro BMW (BMW = cool?? Yeah, go figure!)
Funniest moment: Very soon after we were commenting on the motards being ideally suited to the early wet conditions, one of them slid over in the carpark at 2km/h.
The "if I wasn't blind before, then I am now " award: Poos displaying his muckhole for the Aussie journo's to drool over.
The "everything in slow motion" award: the poor MV Agusta 1000 slooooowly toppling over at the top of the hill while trying to turn around on gravel.
"What the...? award: seeing the NOS bottle strapped on to the nice Kwaka 636.
Quote of the day: Jay Lawrence, "hey look the fork seals are leaking...I thought all the oil had leaked out ages ago", commenting on the "war pig" that he unbelievably rode to within a couple of seconds of the fastest time.

Jays' incredible pace was actually only 1.1 seconds behind me bro. Damn I'm gonna have to work on my riding to beat him next year!

Whatever pal, you're a slut when it comes to bikes. Someone says, "here jay, have a play on this." And off you go, no arm twisting required
