Just to reinforce all that was said, OMFG what a great choice I made Thursday morning. Instead of putting my high heels on, hopping in my car and turning left out of my street, I put my leathers on, hopped on my bike and turned right out of my street, GOOD MOVE . Now your all going to shoot me cause I CHOOSE not to ride any of the MVs, yep I know. But I was grumpy from work and in a bad head space, I was just tagging along as DMTND's shurper girl carrying all necessary gears. Didnt expect to be included but signed the 'all care no responsibility' sheet and took the Prilly out. Sucks cause its still got the bloody horrible Pilot Road on the back and the Prilly was slip sliding a fair bit. Then took the ZX out with yet even more recent mods done. Now its waking up nicely and is much more flighty than when I was running it in. Then finally onto the Duke. What an awesome bike and the sound from that particular beast was pure V-Twin porn. It was seeing the looks on Chris and Kellys faces that really made my day, those two were just in a world of there own, (together but separately that is, oh and Im watching....)

Got to say Chris was invited in person and wasnt really our place to invite the whole of KB along, we were privilidged indeed and Chris checked it was OK for me to come along, Kelly living so handy was OK to come for a look, but was also included once there, just one of those things that fell into place really. We (kelly, Chris and I) all feel it was our duty to share this via annoying photos, bragging (Oh and it was Towel Ronga Thursday night drinks/ride?/drinks night) but Kelly beat us there and she had told the WHOLE story by the time we arrived. Poor Towel Ronga crew, was a tough Thursday night for them this week, bloody Norfland Imports and Rotovaga locals

Awww! Trying to burst my bubble eh? If I knew the day was going to turn out like it did I would've text you. I only text Bob twice....when I first got to the track then again when it was all over. Since Chris is the one with the "official" invite, maybe you'd better ask him about next month.

Cheers Unit. I didn't really think it was my place to invite all and sundry. It really was pure coincidence how the day turned out.

I wouldn't call Robert A Heinlein ignorant. He was actually well ahead of his time!

a head of his time for science fiction, which is what he wrote. a quote from him is like a quote from Spok off startrek - He had some dodgy ideas about incest that most normal people would find repulsive.

Any way - I must get my 'a' to taupo track one day, I liked your post

gotta make sure ya drop from "road pressure" to "track pressure" on these.
i had probs with Pirelli Strada rear slipping and sliding, but once i put the Pilot Road on it was great. Controlled moves and slides, yee ha!

great that you had a wikkid time tho! best place to wind up the RSV,innit?!

Well we did actually, and we had good machanic's on site too so we were very well catered for. Pilot Roads are not for the track, sorry but just dont work when you really want to push this machine along. And the strada, thats definately worse. Nop, these just dont qualify as tyres in my world, Id rather burn through a Pilot Sport in half the Ks and have twice as much fun any day
