Oh Lord, someone will need to give Disco Dan directions on how to get from Auckland to Wellington.
Yep I suggest you do some research on the "firearms thread" your only salvation.

Yep, that's the best recommendation yet. You will also need a good supply for yourself once they have gone back home to help recover your sanity.
And yes, i have been there and done that so can speak from experience.

I second reading cinemas ... you also have freyburg pools .. and kibirnie aquatic centre ... set the rules straight at the beginning and don't bend on them ... firm with love ... also take them out for dinners .. e.g. mexican ... and stuff they wouldn't get locally .... that sorta shite

Make sure they understand your rules/guidelines on the first day!!
Warn them about drink spiking, areas to avoid, for their own safety.
Trust them, respect them and above all else enjoy having them there. teenagers are such fun and can teach us so much if only we are open to listening!

One night be sure to order something in (pizza etc). It's such a novelty for country kids when someone DELIVERS FOOD RIGHT TO YOUR DOOR!

And of course it does depend what kind of kids they are. Some girls will spend all day shopping and others will get bored within an hour. Give them a range of things to do, the means to get from one place to another (eg train, bus tickets & timetables) rules about where they need to be by when (having lunch with them is a great idea). Then let them go!

With two of them it's better - they'll be safer together and keep each other company. And hopefully at least one of them will have a bit of sense!
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!

I live with my 14 year old cousin. Give em something to do, like baking, or going for walks. They're so much more cheerful that way, keep em off the computer!

Ive noticed with chicks my age if they are doing something what they really enjoyed that normally are much more mature than the ones who have no hobbies at all, except for getting sloshed! what isnt too bad once and a while anyways as pointed out before make sure you find them something to do and it will be a fun expierence .

Leave ya vibrator lying around - they'll entertain themselves for hours (unless they bring their own).

Buy them a day rover on the trains and send em up to paraparaumu to the mall etc, they can stop at porirua on the way back. Most places don't have commuter trains so it's quite novel for a lot of people.

Parliament is worth a visit, likewise Te Papa / readings etc but you know all that. Don't forget the good old cable car and if they are fit, get them to climb Mt Vic. If it's this week, Exodus gym is having an open week - they will be blown away by it.

Fergs kayaks have a climbing wall and rent kayaks.
