Duude.
The implants are way cool. I got one when they were new tech back in the day. At the time I was misguided enough to be a very bad kick-boxer. My dentist cracked me up "you can get the shit kicked out of you as much as you like now, but that tooth aint gonna go anywhere". He was onto it that fulla.
Keep up the recovery bro. See you on the weekend.

Not a bad idea. Bit skeptical about the Naturopath bit but sometimes I'd take anything. Cheers cyy.

I prefer natural to anything else .. the guy I am seeing works on pressure points, & has done several different trype of training (for yrs he has been the sports physio for the local rugby clubs - but does it as a sideline at nite as he works fulltime) .. works wonders ... see who you can find down your way .. if you have trouble finding someone might be worth a trip to levin to see this guy :)

There was a guy that worked in both Otaki and Welly, by the name of Peter Waugh. If he's still around could be worth a crack...he was very good at Naturopathy/Osteopathy treatment.

Trouble is my pain is hard to describe. The best description I've found is to say:

"from my elbows up, including my chest (esp ribs) and shoulders I have a skin sensation that is similar to how you feel achy when you get the flu"...

... at this point I usually draw a blank from health professionals. Maybe should give it a go. *Wonders if ACC would cover this*

Back at work, and to be honest since I have been back they've been a bit stingey when it comes to paying for shit. Actually more like they were a bit ansty when it turned out I wasn't able to drive for a year.

I had to move house to live on a bus route (no taxis now), and now my assistance with buses has a limited period of support. I like to fend for myself just like the next guy, but when my case manager says things like "you have to understand we are trying to save a bit of money" it makes you wonder if they are an accident compensation org, or a bank.

Anyway, just bugs me a bit :) and I'm a bit ranty this morning.

Yeah kinda hinted at that. Its the walking to work and having to do physio which I stated could be a problem... but I don't think it will be.

Cheers... I know I can challenge decisions but quite honestly I'm not really in the right 'place' to get shitty. They are paying for a lot of expensive stuff, and I'm not a complainer (except to those in earshot :)).

stick to your guns Sean & if your not up to dealing with them .. get an advocate, Nasty would be the perfect candidate for that job  .. love to see someone try & get one over our babe  ..

seriously you need to ensure you get what your entitled too & do not allow them to fob you off .. I have found that my pain was referred (as most is) so even though it was my neck & shoulders it was coming from my sciatica. I have found mainstream therapists tend to concentrate on the area where your naturopaths etc tend to look at the body as a whole & where is the pain originating from .. It makes a huge difference and after the trauma your body has been through it would not be surprising that you still have pain

I'd like that on record!!!!!

BTW lady on another note: your tuition didn't contribute to my bin at all...infact I definitely went faster in the corners because of it and felt more comfortable :niceone: SO THANKS :sunny: ...the increased speed was however part the prob..well that and the SLed wasn't slowing at all when you let the gas off so to avoid driving up Jays little big brothers arse in the hairpin I grabbed a stupid amount of front brake

Sorry a quick update for those wondering:

Today is fairly significant for me as I have got my license back.

Its been a very long, frustrating and quite unpleasant year so this is a bit of a turning point. Trust me when I say that I wasn't this excited about getting my *new* front teeth "installed" last month.

Aside from that I'm walking fine, shoulder and neck cause issues but I should be able to ride ok (will find out eh). Knees might be an issue so could be heading back to a nekid who knows? I plan to do more long trips like I used to, slow up a bit and just enjoy being in charge of a vehicle again. sure hope there's still some summer left for me eh.

Special thanks to those who tolerated my moodiness through the last 54 weeks (24 Feb was anniversary). Sorry if I've been a grumpy pain in the bum. Also cheers if you dropped in to say "hi", or just went out of your way for me.

Nice you have your license back and are re-aquainting yourself with the bike - they say it's like riding a bike, or somethin' like that...

Very good to hear! Although nowhere near as bad as yours, I had a nasty off 3 weeks ago. I'm writing this one handed and am recovering from several broken bones. Really pleased you're back into it now!
