Sister??? Don't recall a sister in the story but love the music. Got the Donny Osmond version somewhere and it is gold. Yeah I know - that Donny Osmond. He's very talented. As you must be if you could play alongside Rob Guest. :D
Ok. This person will shortly have a biography published and is well known by two quite different names.
Edit - not necessarily demographically known by KB members though. :D

Dr Temple Grandin. Autistic chick who thinks like a cow.
YES! We have a winner. Dr Temple Grandin of Colorado has written over 300 articles on autism and is a specialist on animal perceptions. Her work has lead to animal friendly stock yards being designed all over the world.
Temple Grandin's brain sees in images rather than logical jumps like the rest of us. She has described her connection to other people as being like an anthropoligist on Mars - she struggles to perceive and understand the emotions of ordinary people.
She invented a "hug box" for autistic people. Such people do not like being hugged or touched and this device gives them comfort. Her visit in 2007 was to support Autism NZ and give some lectures.
