Got the tailite done, spent a while polishing then fitted two 12V festoon bulbs,added an old indicator lens that got painted red & made a copper visor
Progress is progressing progressively, been working on tidying the footboards that were actually a pair of ali castings meant to grace vintage car running boards Also got the tail lite sorted, Ill start with an old carbide miners lamp & add 12V guts....
I went to the launch of the Hyosung ST7 cruiser last night at the Bike Central building 72 Barrys Point Road Takapuna. The new Hyosung shop is in the same building as Cyletreads. The ST7 is a good looking bike and seems very well priced. The shop is one of the best around. Has anybody else ridden an ST7.
I've been wanting to do this for a while now, and have been plodding away getting my shit together, but finally, just 12 hours away is the 2 week trip from heaven (at least I hope so). Gear is packed, bike is serviced, map is sorted, Euro's pocketed, Pillion organised.... Most of you will know i had a season ending crash at Taupo last December, when i say season ending i was out of racing for 3 months on Doctors orders and missed the Tri Series, Taupo Endurance, PMCC and NZ Nationals.
