hey herman Glad to hear you're doing better. I've had 2 head knocks. First from non bike incident, but after 30 years still get pain from it. I used to use needles to easy the pain. Worked a treat most times. 2nd klonk from landing in gutter head first. Fullface acted as torpedo cone & spun round 3/4s. No residual problems. Nothing wrong with looking into any therapy/treatment that benefits recovery & healing. cc

Made a pact with myself to get it back on the road within two weeks, Well on track to getting it done. I love the bike,, It was me that failed, not the bike, I can't wait to get back on

Three needles in the ear? Actually inside the canal? Did it hurt?
One other thing I should have mentioned were the locals in the small community who rallied to help me out. Amazing . Great people
Thats very true, eastern medicine is starting to become more popular therefore studied more.
Years ago a mate of mine did his back in, went to physio, chiro' etc. but nothing seemed to help. After a few sessions of acupuncture he was back at work. I'd give it a go if anything like that happend to me, for sure.
Can one bling blogs... I totally agree for $7 a minor would cheese be... bacon is always a yum topping too!!! I have sent food back saying "if that is your interpretation of food, I suggest you hire a new chef" and they usually give me my money back.
I have been thinking about this for a while and have found your comments and blog most informative. Thanks for the write up.
I hope so too! My dad has diagnosed me as 'unconsciously desiring a motorcycle'. I told I think it is not too unconscious!
the good life
This is hilarious!
Enjoyable story to read. Hope you can get a motorbike again soon.
lol I keep looking for my wing mirrors on my bicycle... its like someone ripped them off... and I swear they should be there... great story Hanne.
You're right there mate, she sounded proper angry when she fired I'll definitely be wheeling her out at Hampton Downs sometime Devil so keep an eye out.
Sounds awesome. Cant wait to see it.
Ahh yes, brings back memories of my time on the Mountain bike which I used to pootle all around Auckland in my meandering ways. I think other lycra clad cyclists were bemused by the sight of me huffing and puffing on the roads to Clevedon and the back blocks, not realising I was intentionally making it harder for myself. It is all training, what does not kill you makes you stronger! And I see from your experiences, you were indeed training. It made you reflect about riding and that is not a half bad thing! Well done, I am most enchanted with your style of writing and do hope to be regaled more with your eloquent musings!
