ok, I guess pier pressure does work to an extent..i've already got the H-D, so I guess a new style of bike is in order. Maybe the BMW 1300GT? Actually what I would love would be a big touring bike with the riding position and foot placement of my belost GN250. Comfort to me is king, but keep in mind I got to park it on
Enjoyed the ride John, and my first time up to the windmills. Quite spectacular views of the jaggie pointed mountains in the distance. Thank you.

The original plan was a long reverse cone set-up, but it's been pretty 'fluid' and is close to the MIVV set-up now. Which is cool as I do like their X-Cones. I've a pile of cardboard end-caps of different styles I've played with - I'll need to decide soon as I'll need them!
Gruß Gutte Hanne, (I think I got the spelling of the salutation right!). Mmmmmm, warm bretzen! Mmmm, heffe weißbier. Mmmm, schweinshaxen & knödelen..... much nice food & many nice restaurants there! Sounds like you're having a great time over there. That's a bit of a worry that guy coming onto you so strongly. He must have been very close to a swift elbow in the solarplexus and the back of your fist in his face. You don't get those problems on bikes. There're lots of nice riding roads over there down around the alps. Check out the one up & over Gross Glockner on a bike if you get a chance. It's a main road but it's got some impressive altitude. There are many good places to go visit around Salzburg either with or without a bike to. Cheers.

Bavaria? This blog is useless without pictures of awesome castles. Tell me when you visit Transylvania too. I want to see Dracula's lair.

And with Penny Markt, it is a rather odd name. That is abut all I can say! Shall I bring you back a plastic carry bag as a souvenir?

Don't ya hate bodgers? is this an excuse to fit a much bigger top end?
Plase keep up the posts as every little thing you see or do there is so different to life back here at home.
very smooth!
*flower* Deepest sympathies, 27 June is also the anniversary of my daughters death in an accident
Nothing beats being a pillion! I totally understand. Man all these stuff drives me crazy. I think to be better you need to control that adrenalin rush, I learned to control that through Dahn Yoga. It worked for some days, and then it came back again!
It's always - Ride! My colleagues at Marcus Evans, are so crazy about bikes that they have lunch on them. Sheeesh!
well done.... They look good. Good effort doing it yourself
always interesting the journey that gets us to 'here'
Dude, I'm with ya. My wife said "sure you can get a bike" but we can't be put in debt for it. So, After a lot of saving and asking around I managed to find a bike (mint condition 2007 Hyosung GT250R) at a reasonable cost. I get to pick it up next week as I will have finished paying it off. I too bought the gear first and it has been pain staking to have it just sitting in the cupboard waiting for the day that the bike turns up, bring on next week.
wow - a very positive, inward looking, reflective post. somewhat of a treat on here. good luck and i look forward to reading your interesting blogs.
