I tried thes ebut went back to Powers. High speed stability is poor with the Contis and they dont have the same grip and wear as the Powers. I guess thats why you dont see any Contis in Moto GP. Simon.
Yeah, if his buddy on the scooter was not there to get in the way, it could have been quite messy. I didn't even notice the taxi at the time, otherwise I would have followed him, with the camera and all... and wouldn't it have been great if he had one of those stickers eh. Salmon is about the only one I can handle raw too.
Blimey -- good thing the biker didn't pin it from the lights, or he wouldn't be getting up so easily after that. Did they get the taxi (remembering the taxi's bumper stickers, heh!)? Or did he piss off quick-smart? I'm like to do salmon and whitefish, but tuna always gets me. I can't get my head around tuna being raw lol.
Afterwards I realised that those in the pic are all for bikes that have shocks on either side, so the price is for the pair of them - that makes it a bit better eh?
How'd you find getting the damper retaining bolts out (the things on the bottom that you rounded)? What was the technique you used to stop them from spinning around and not undoing? I keep hearing people recommending rattle guns and stuffing dowls down the top to hold the other end in place.
Unlucky on the points. I got pinged on Sunday for 114 and advised to cool it down a bit on the big bike. No ticket.
Yes, I must agree. It was a most enjoyable ride. Weather was good, company was good, and coffee was good. The only downside was all the crap on the road left by farmers leaving muddy paddocks.
He he thanks CADanimal! Fortunately I'm in the >25 age bracket so I only had to wait 6 months in total and it's now GONE! mwahahaha
I've been keeping an eye out for replacement shocks for my twin FVQs, and there seems plenty for around $1500 or so; and those are fairly unknown brands. If those really are Öhlins I wouldn't be that surprised. Crazy, eh! On the other side, I've seen MDI twin shocks for under $200; Bonez recommended them to me, they obviously aren't Öhlins but I bet they're a hell of a lot better than Honda FVQs.
Yes. There's nowhere to hide on the net is there...?
Ahhh, so this you then: http://www.ducati.ms/forums/showthread.php?t=28926 Very small world. Good choice of bike too!
i was thinking you could measure your own 0-100 time
hi 10characters
How am i suppose to know what sorta 0-100kmh time its got??? there isnt much info on rgv150's and its bloody hard to try and time yourself so thats why i was wondering what other people thought it would do.
Thanks John for leading the trip. It was a great day and great company considering the none turn out at the start.
Better to wimp out than to wipe out.
