Dunno what breed it is, just received some seeds from a kind fulla, grew them and shoved them in old 10 litre paint tubs donated by a friend. First attempt for me. What's a runner? Planets took a pasting in the wind last night and there are ripped leaves all over the place. Ah well, live and learn.

Yep, at times you get the feeling at MX events that there is very little focus on the spectators. Probably understandable as I think 90% of people there are riders or family/friends of riders.

    Hey hey

Thanks for that Yep, I saw the webpages and FB page beforehand, but one notices there was no digital copy of the programme to check. For those of us driving for hours to get there, and not necessarily just rocking up for the whole day, it's an important thing to have.

And nope, no programme when we arrived, but it was a moot point since we were there already

Hey, did you steal my bike? Nah, yours looks much more sparkly

At first I thought it was my photo. (Made a photo of my bike in front of Lake Tarawera a few days ago), then I thought it was bosslady blogging. So, another Learner with a black GN250. Welcome to the club.

Mark, I would imagine most places could leave a key out being ferry related and used to movements at odd hours. I know Tombstone Backpackers would leave a key out, but for a single person, own room, you're looking at $75 ish.

Hi koroJ. Looks like you've got it all sorted out.
As usual I will be going for the full monte again. I believe it's totally possible within the 48, we've done more in less on previous. I'm thinking of the 2011 rally with only 40 hrs available.
My route picks up the 5k Stony Beach first then heading North. Any advice on a place to stay in Blenheim or Picton that is open late? Failing that, I won't be stopping until Alex Saturday night.
Safe trip down, see you at the scrutineering.

    Mark

12,000 points for me, and under 2100km... this time I'll have a cruisy 750km Sunday ride which will allow me to do that socialising thing, and more importantly, eat food from the BBQ, which I missed out on last year. The (very) few people remaining at HQ weren't particularly chatty, which can't have been because it was 10pm on a Sunday??

I'll crack up a few km before the TT, as the bike is some way from service (about 3-4k), and I'll need tyres as well. The TT + 7 day holiday break afterwards will be a minimum of 4k, possibly more like 6k, so need the range.

Oh, order up some nice weather from this Weds > Sun in the 'rapa would ya? Got a few cyclists to chase

I don't think it was in this case. I think it was a good combination of things including stupidity (wrong gas); but not lack of warm up.
Won't make any more rounds. Haven't heard if I can get a refund yet...

I must admit, looking back at that picture, it does look pretty dumb And hey, stop hatin on Po!

I might just TRY and save up for skins, skins, trying to buy as much quality gear as I can and being a brand whore, obviously this does not apply to my choice in bikes... hah!

Hm what about extending the velcro straps or rather changing them against longer straps somehow that fit under your boot?
Yea I am probably pretty lucky but I seriously went over multiple types of sizing charts multiple times and watched youtube videos, reviews etc. And I'll have to have a think on my velcro/pants situation cause it's def starting to annoy me..
