Its not really access to the road... its more a point of whether it is an area that is isolated away from the road and someone would need to move or open a barrier, or go out of their way to get to it.

Ie.. closed MX tracks have car access, but the riding area is fenced off from where the cars pull in and park.

McCleans island I believe has a closed off MX area.

    REALLY!!!

this is amazing, and totally stupid at the same time.

I cant think of anywhere I ride that a Vehicle couldnt accsess from the road... making everywhere I ride my Non road going MX bikie illegal...

If it has access to a road, then yes. Likewise, if your driveway is not fenced off you are suppose to be regged and warranted to drive down it.

You can only ride a bike without a license and reg and warrant if it the area is not open to a road or extension of road that connects to a road.

    Glad you had a win
Alot of people slag Hyo's out, and in some cases it's justified. (Same as all makes and models).

But they are a reasonable learners bike, that are solid if cared for. Enjoy

Vacume fuel taps had a known fault, and were changed out on alot of GT's under warranty.
Basically, they struggled to supply enough fuel to the carbs over about 15kms, until the fuel level lowered too far, and the bike would stop.
By the time you tried to restart a few times, the fuel level lifted enough, so the bike would retart.
Inaccurate machining of the clearances inside the fuel vacume tapassembly was the fault.Out by about 005".

Frustrating and time expensive to fault find.
Maybe try a manual,(non vacume)tapfrom the wreckers off a similar sized bike.

PS, Scottyand the team at Hyo NZ are good blokes.

had one bike doing this when i was working on hyosung it proved to be a bad connection in the cdi, was bloddy hard to trace as it would never fault when the customer bought it to us. This bike needed to have been running for 10 15 min and then hit a bump to bring on the fault, is this what yours bike is doing? Do you know any one with the same model of bike that you can give your cdi to to test to see if the fault swaps to there bike with your cdi fitted.

It sounds like you have a really well thought out approach to sorting this bike out, be good to see how you get on further down the track, good luck
